Add it to Claude

In Claude, open Settings > Connectors.
Choose Add custom connector and paste the connector URL above.
Select Connect. Sign in with your Open Loyalty API URL and API key.

Then run /mcp in Claude Code, pick openloyalty and sign in in the browser window that opens.

What you need

API URL: your instance address followed by /api, for example https://your-instance.openloyalty.io/api.
API key: in the Open Loyalty Admin Panel, go to Settings > API Keys.

Your key is checked against your instance and stored encrypted. Claude receives short-lived tokens, never the key. Delete the key in Open Loyalty to cut off access at any time.

Privacy & data

Your API key is checked against your instance at sign-in, then stored only encrypted, inside your connection. It is never logged, and Claude gets short-lived tokens, never the key.
Your requests go only to the Open Loyalty instance you signed in with. Member, transaction, points and reward data is passed through, not stored.
Program configuration (wallet types, tier sets, stores and similar, never member data) is cached encrypted, per API key, for up to 2 minutes.
Connections: Access tokens last 1 hour. A connection unused for 30 days ends, and every connection ends 90 days after sign-in.
The server and its storage are hosted on Cloudflare Workers.
